• This short hose is located on the underside of the machine. (It is not the main hose on the rear of the vacuum.)
• This genuine part will also fit the DC14.
• This genuine hose has two functions.
• It will carry the air flow and dirt to the collection bin and pushes your roller brush against the floor.
• If you have trouble with your roller making contact with the floor or your old hose is cracked, buy this item.
• Generic after market internal hoses will not push your roller assembly to the floor.
• Do not buy after market Dyson parts.
• They will not perform like the genuine parts.
